Please let us inform you about the current COVID-19 regulations in Hungary. We would be glad if you could forward this letter to your riders and clubs.
Hungary has categorized all the countries in 3 colours: green, yellow and red. Current categories can be found on page: https://koronavirus.hu/az-orszagok-aktualis-szinkod-szerinti-besorolasa
The following regulation comes into force from 30st of August 2020 for NON-Hungarian athletes, sports professionals and participants (ie. for foreign competitors who come to MAMS competition) from red and yellow countries:
„he/she may enter the territory of Hungary if, within 5 days prior to entering Hungary, at least 48 hours apart, twice, in Hungarian or English, he/she is in the possession of the results of a molecular biological test - SARS-CoV-2 test - in accordance with health professional rules, that no coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 was detected in his body at the time of the study".
It means that 2 negative COVID tests are obligatory.
For NON-Hungarian athletes, sports professionals and participants (ie. for foreign competitors who come to MAMS competition) from green countries:
„entry to Hungary is possible without restrictions”
